TOUR HIGHLIGHTS
Players will arrive in Dublin and have time to explore this great city.
Perhaps you could take in a Guinness or a whisky tour or maybe St. Patrick's Cathedral. A day trip to the Giants Causeway is included.
An Open Play session with locals and a tournament are planned for Dublin. Then we move on to Edinburgh, Scotland for a Pickleball Open Play session and a tournament. Players will enjoy Pickleball games with the local competition. A trip to Edinburgh Castle is a must as is a stroll through the streets of Edinburgh.
TOUR ITINERARY
FRI. OCT. 23RD Dublin, Ireland
Arrive in Dublin and transfer to the hotel. Check in and welcome reception included. Time to do a little sightseeing. Group dinner included.
SAT. OCT. 24TH Dublin, Ireland
Breakfast at the hotel is included. Transfer to the courts for the tournament.
Players will take part in the PLC Sports Irish Cup. Teams will be in action all day. Players will play against Irish Pickleball players. There will be awards and prizes for all divisions. There will be a party for all players and guests in the evening with dinner included! Transfer back to the hotel.
SUN. OCT. 25TH Dublin, Ireland
Breakfast at the hotel is included. Today we will explore the wonderful city of Dublin. Some of the optional activities you may wish to consider are the Guinness Storehouse tour, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, The Book of Kells Experience or an Irish Whiskey Tour.
MON. OCT. 26TH Dublin, Ireland
Breakfast at the hotel. Today the group will take a day trip to the Giant’s Causeway.
Leave the busy city behind and discover one of Northern Ireland’s most impressive natural attractions on this Giant’s Causeway Day tour from Dublin. Enjoy a bracing stroll along County Antrim’s coastal paths for panoramic views and a stop at the Dark Hedges. Visit the Giant's Causeway with your guide and gain insight into Northern Irish geology and folklore. Take winding coastal roads to Dunluce Castle.
Dinner on your own.
TUES. OCT. 27TH Dublin, Ireland
Breakfast at the hotel. Today is free for local sightseeing and exploring the city.
Pickleball Open Play session with locals at 6:00pm to 9:00pm.
WED. OCT. 28TH Dublin to Edinburgh
Breakfast at the hotel included. After breakfast we will board the bus and transfer to the airport for the flight to Edinburgh. The flight cost is not included. Travellers will be given a flight to book, and you can choose which class you would like to fly. We will transfer to the hotel in Edinburgh and check in. Travelers will have the afternoon for some local sightseeing. Dinner on your own. A group dinner can be arranged.
THURS. OCT. 29TH Edinburgh, Scotland
Breakfast at the hotel included. After breakfast the group can plan some optional excursions. You may wish to take a walking tour, a visit to Edinburgh Castle or perhaps a Scotch Whisky tour. The Pickleball Open Play will begin at 5:00pm and run to 9:00pm. Players will match up against local Scottish players. Dinner on your own. A group dinner can be arranged.
FRI. OCT. 30TH Edinburgh, Scotland
Breakfast at the hotel. Today travelers can plan optional excursions to local sights or take the train up to St. Andrews for a round of golf or a tour.
SAT. OCT. 31ST Edinburgh, Scotland
Breakfast at the hotel included. Today there will be a Pickleball Tournament with local Scottish players.
There will be an awards ceremony and social activity after the tournament.
Farewell dinner included.
SUN. NOV. 1ST Home
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer on your own to the airport for your flight home.

OUR BOOKING POLICIES
To book a tour, please fill out the contact information sheet on the website and submit it to PLC Sports Travel. Once the minimum number of travelers has been reached (minimum 20 travelers) the tour will be confirmed and payments will be required.
IRELAND & SCOTLAND TOUR PACKAGE PRICE FOR A PLAYER IS:$3,975.00 CAD per person in a double room. Taxes included. 1 bed or 2 twin beds.
$5,800.00 CAD per person in a single room.
TOUR PACKAGE PRICE FOR A NON-PLAYER GUEST IS:$3,695.00 CAD per person in a double room. Taxes included. 1 bed or 2 twin beds.
Pricing does not include:
• Meals (unless indicated in the itinerary)
• Personal spending money
• Admission tickets to attractions (unless indicated in the itinerary)
AIRFARE:
Airfare is NOT included in the package price. Travelers are welcome to book their own airfare as per the group’s arrival and departure schedule. Please consult with PLC Sports Travel before booking your flights. Travelers will be expected to ensure their arrival and departure coincides with the group bus transfer times. If your flights do not correspond with the group transfer time, you will be required to arrange your own transportation.
TRAVEL INSURANCE:
PLC Sports Travel requires all travelers to have out of country health insurance. We also recommend you purchase trip cancellation and or trip interruption insurance to protect yourself from any unforeseen circumstances. Insurance is not included in the package.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
If a person cancels the ground portion of the tour, the following charges will apply:
• 91 + Days prior to departure, you will receive a refund of the payments you have made less a $100.00 service charge.
• 61-90 Days prior to departure, you will receive a 50% refund of the payments you have made less the $100.00 non-refundable deposit. If you find a replacement player/guest, you will receive a full refund less a $250.00 service charge.
• 0-60 Days prior to departure, no refund will be issued. If you find a replacement player/guest, you will receive a full refund less a $250.00 service charge.
