Our tour starts in Barcelona. Players will enjoy an open play session with local players on Friday followed by a 2-Day tournament. Players will compete in mixed doubles, ladies doubles and men's doubles against local and international competitors. There will be awards, medals, prizes, lunch and a Pickleball party after the tournament. In Barcelona players will have the opportunity to visit some of the iconic attractions including Sagrada Familia Cathedral, Park Guell, the Gothic Quarter, Las Ramblas and the monastery at Montserrat.

All local players will have at least a 3.5 local rating or above in Barcelona and Madrid.

Players will board the high speed train and transfer to Madrid in just over 3 hours. Players will be checking into the Emperador Hotel. The hotel has the largest roof-top pool in Madrid!

Players will enjoy 2 open play sessions in Madrid and a 1-Day tournament with awards, medals, prizes, lunch and a Pickleball party after the tournament. The Pickleball club has a restaurant on-site as well as a swimming pool.

While in Madrid, players will have the option to visit many amazing attractions including  Puerta del Sol, San Miguel Market, Plaza Mayor, Royal Palace, the monastery at San Lorenzo de El Escorial and Segovia.

Day 1 Barcelona, Spain Arrive at the Barcelona Airport in the morning. Transfer to a Barcelona 4-Star hotel on your own. A group transfer may be arranged if everyone arrives on the same flight. Hotel check in will be at 3:00pm. Travelers will be able to store their luggage in a secure room until check in. You can relax at the hotel or take some time to explore the nearby sites and have some lunch at a local restaurant. A welcome reception will be held at the hotel with a complementary beverage. Optional group dinner. Day 2 Barcelona, Spain Breakfast at the hotel is included. Today is a free day to explore the city. Optional guided tours available include the Sagrada Familia, Park Guell, or take a tour of the Gothic Quarter. Day 3 Barcelona, Spain Breakfast at the hotel is included. Transfer to the Pickleball Club for a 3-hour open play session with local players. Local players will have a 3.5 local rating or above. After the session, transfer back to the hotel and enjoy the afternoon and evening on your own. Day 4 Barcelona, Spain Breakfast at the hotel is included. Transfer to the Pickleball club for the mixed doubles tournament. After the tournament, there will be awards, medals and prizes followed by a reception. Transfer back to the hotel. Day 5 Barcelona, Spain Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the Pickleball club for the ladies and men's doubles tournament. After the tournament, there will be awards, medals and prizes followed by a reception. Transfer back to the hotel. Day 6 Barcelona, Spain

Breakfast at the hotel included. Today is a free day in Barcelona. Travelers may wish to take the optional tour to Monastery of Montserrat or choose another activity. Day 7 Madrid, Spain

Breakfast at the hotel included. After breakfast, transfer to the train station and take the high speed train to Madrid. Transfer from the train station to the Emperador Hotel. Check in. Enjoy a quick swim in Madrid's largest roof-top pool. Transfer to the Pickleball club for an open play session with local players. Day 8 Madrid, Spain Breakfast at the hotel. Today is a free day to enjoy the many attractions in Madrid. The group may choose an optional wine tour or a day trip to Avila and Segovia. Day 9 Madrid, Spain Breakfast at the hotel is included. After breakfast, transfer to the Pickleball club for an open play session with locals. Local players will have a 3.5 local rating or above.The afternoon is free to visit Toledo if you like or take in some local attractions. Day 10 Madrid, Spain Breakfast at the hotel. Today is a free day in Madrid. Optional activities may include a visit to the Royal Palace or the Prado Museum. You may wish to take a day trip to see Cordoba. Day 11 Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the Pickleball club for a tournament. Enjoy and exciting day of Pickleball with local and regional players. After the tournament, there will be awards, medals and prizes followed by a reception. Transfer back to the hotel.

Day 12

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for your flight home on your own. A group transfer may be arranged if everyone is on the same flight.

PRICING:

Player in a double room: $4,695.00 CAD per person.

Guest in a double room: $3,840.00CAD per person.

Player in a Single Room: $6,800.00. Canadian travelers pay in CDN US and International travelers pay in USD. The U.S. dollar price will be sent to you once you have filled out the tour registration form.

Tour package pricing is per person, and based on double occupancy. Single room prices available upon request. A deposit fee is required to register for the tour. Requests for add-on tour pricing will be detailed in the custom tour quote. Pricing does not include: • Meals (unless indicated in the itinerary) • Personal spending money • Admission tickets to attractions (unless indicated in the itinerary) AIRFARE: Airfare is NOT included in the package price. Travelers are welcome to book their own airfare as per the group’s arrival and departure schedule. Please consult with PLC Sports Travel before booking your flights. Travelers will be expected to ensure their arrival and departure coincides with the group bus transfer times. If your flights do not correspond with the group transfer time, you will be required to arrange your own transportation. TRAVEL INSURANCE: PLC Sports Travel requires all travelers to have out of country health insurance. We also recommend you purchase trip cancellation and or trip interruption insurance to protect yourself from any unforeseen circumstances. Insurance is not included in the package. CANCELLATION POLICY: If a person cancels the ground portion of the tour, the following charges will apply: • 91 + Days prior to departure, you will receive a refund of the payments you have made less a $100.00 service charge. • 61-90 Days prior to departure, you will receive a 50% refund of the payments you have made less the $100.00 non-refundable deposit.
