The tour begins in Lisbon. Travelers will have the opportunity to see many of the amazing sites in Lisbon including a day trip to Sintra.

Visit Quinta de Regaleria and the historic Pena Palace and have some time to relax in Cascais. Open play Pickleball along with a 1 day tournament is Lisbon is scheduled.

Travlers will transfer to Lagos where they will play 3 days with locals in an open play format. There will be plenty of time to enjoy this beautiful city by the Atlantic Ocean.

INDIVIDUAL AND TEAM REGISTRATIONS ACCEPTED

Day 1 Lisbon, Portugal
Arrive at the Lisbon Airport in the morning. Transfer to a 4-Star hotel. Hotel check in will be at 3:00pm. Travellers will be able to store their luggage in a secure room until check in if you arrive early. You can relax at the hotel. A welcome reception is planned once all travelers arrive at the hotel. Optional group dinner.

Day 2  Lisbon, Portugal
Breakfast at the hotel is included.
Today the group will transfer to the Pickleball club for a 3 hour open play session with the locals.
The afternoon is free for sightseeing. Some local attractions you may wish to visit are Belem Tower, Jerónimos Monastery, Castelo de São Jorge andPraça do Comércio.

Day 3 Lisbon, Portugal
Breakfast at the hotel is included. Today the group will take a tour to Sintra, Pena, Regaleira and Cascais. This 9.5-hour day trip with guide and coach transfer will provide you the opportunity to see some of Portugal’s most famous attractions.

Day 4 Lisbon, Portugal
Breakfast at the hotel is included. Today the group will play in the PLC Sports TravelPortugal Open against local players from Lisbon and the surrounding area. Prizes and awards for the winning teams. After the tournament players will enjoy a local Fiesta with food and drinks with the local players.

Day 5 Lagos, Portugal
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Lagos by coach and check into the hotel. Travelers will have the afternoon and evening to explore the historic city and sample the local cuisine.

Day 6 Lagos, Spain
Breakfast at the hotel included. Players will head to the Lagos Tennis & Pickleball Club for 3 hours of open play with the local members. The afternoon is available for sightseeing or to head to the beach.

Day 7 Lagos, Portugal
Breakfast at the hotel included. Today the group will transfer to the Rocha BravaTennis Centre for a friendly competion with the local club members. Transfer back to Lagos for a group farewell dinner.

Day 8 Home
Breakfast at the hotel. AFter breakfast the group will transfer back to Lison for your flight home or a flight to another destination.

PRICING:
Canadian travelers pay in CDN
US and International travelers pay in USD. The U.S. dollar price will be sent to you once you have filled out the tour registration form.

Tour package pricing is per person, and based on double occupancy. Single room prices available upon request. A deposit fee is required to register for the tour. Requests for add-on tour pricing will be detailed in the custom tour quote.
Pricing does not include:
• Meals (unless indicated in the itinerary)
• Personal spending money
• Admission tickets to attractions (unless indicated in the itinerary)

AIRFARE:
Airfare is NOT included in the package price. Travelers are welcome to book their own airfare as per the group’s arrival and departure schedule. Please consult with PLC Sports Travel before booking your flights. Travelers will be expected to ensure their arrival and departure coincides with the group bus transfer times. If your flights do not correspond with the group transfer time, you will be required to arrange your own transportation.

TRAVEL INSURANCE:
PLC Sports Travel requires all travelers to have out of country health insurance. We also recommend you purchase trip cancellation and or trip interruption insurance to protect yourself from any unforeseen circumstances. Insurance is not included in the package.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
If a person cancels the ground portion of the tour, the following charges will apply:
• 91 + Days prior to departure, you will receive a refund of the payments you have made less a $100.00 service charge.
• 61-90 Days prior to departure, you will receive a 50% refund of the payments you have made less the $100.00 non-refundable deposit. If you find a replacement player/guest, you will receive a full refund less a $250.00 service charge.
• 0-60 Days prior to departure, no refund will be issued. If you find a replacement player/guest, you will receive a full refund less a $250.00 service charge.
